Helping you get stronger
Art Therapy Day workshop
The Art Therapy (full) Day Workshop offers therapists and counsellors in practice and in training an overview of art therapy theory and practice.
In the morning participants are introduced to basic concepts of art therapy theory and how this applies to practice. Participants are welcomed to reflect, comment, discuss, and ask questions pertinent and in relation to their own training and/or practice.
In the afternoon, art materials are introduced to offer participants the experience of using art as a powerful medium for exploration, reflection and expression.
Through the production and the sharing of their art work participants are able to explore their identity in relationship to their practice or training. After sharing their art work and reflection, they are encouraged to use their art work to further explore how they self care and offer containment in their practice.
